Teaching Mindfulness to Children
When teaching mindfulness to children, it is important to keep it simple. There are so many benefits that come from incorporating a mindful way of living at an early age. With children using words, awareness or noticing is a great way to introduce mindfulness.
Mindfulness is noticing our thoughts, what our body feels like, what our ears are hearing, and anything else that is around us and happening right now.
